Hello! I’m Dorys Calvert, and I’d like to share a bit about my professional journey.

I have a multidisciplinary background: Psychology (PUC-RJ- Brazil), Performing Arts (UNIRIO – Brazil), and Dentistry (UFF – Brazil). I hold a Master’s and Ph.D. in Theatre Studies from the Université de la Sorbonne Nouvelle – Paris 3. I’ve completed post-doctoral studies in Interdisciplinarity at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and Turku University of Applied Sciences, Finland. I’m also a specialist in Mental Health from the National School of Public Health. As an actress and puppeteer, I have experience in the field of arts and the emotional development of children and performing artists.

I am the founder and Director of Limbiseen Studio, a transdisciplinary research center dedicated to studying the emotions of performers and the therapeutic effectiveness of theater using neuroscientific biofeedback devices. I’ve authored the book “Théâtre et Neuroscience des Émotions,” published in France by L’Harmattan. Finally, I am the creator of the Neuroemotional Training for Performers (NETP) and a Visiting Ph.D. Professor at the Postgraduate Program in Applied Neuroscience at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro – UFRJ.

NETP is practiced by hundreds of students across Brazil and around the world (France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Canada, etc.). I travel between Brazil and Europe, conducting in-person workshops on Theatre & Neuroscience.

Today, I’m clearly following my purpose, which is to awaken artists and non-artists to a life filled with emotional well-being. My main mission with the promotion of my online training is to create agents of transformation for the world. We deserve to live in a place with more affection, inclusion, and solidarity. I wish for a happier world.
